Returns & Exchanges Policy

We want you to love your Henry Dacosta purchase. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we make it easy to return or exchange items. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, fair, and transparent process for both you and our team, with clear timelines and straightforward steps

Scope

Eligible Products:

Returns and exchanges are available for all full-price, unused, and unworn items in their original packaging, including tissue wrapping and dust bags where applicable.

Exclusions:

Final sale items, international orders shipped outside Europe, and worn or damaged items are not eligible for standard returns, or exchanges.

Faulty Products:

Items that are damaged upon delivery or have a manufacturing fault within 14 days of receipt qualify for replacement, repair, or a full refund.

Timeframes

Standard Returns & Exchanges:

Must be initiated within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.

Faulty Items:

Must be reported within 14 days of receipt.

Late Returns:

Returns beyond 14 days may only receive store credit, at the company’s discretion.

Conditions

To qualify for a return exchange:
  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Shoes should be tried on a clean, carpeted surface. Marks or dirt will void the return eligibility.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be included.
  • Any breakages, damages, or defects must be reported immediately & within 24 hours of delivery for shipping damage.

Refunds & Credits

Refunds:

Processed to the original payment method within 14 working days of receiving the returned item, excluding original shipping costs.

Store Credit:

Optional instead of a refund; no additional fees apply.

Exchanges:

Processed once the return item is received and inspected. Replacement items are subject to availability.

Faulty Items:

Replaced or refunded in full. Repair may be offered as a first step, where feasible.

Exclusions & Limitations
  • Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • International orders outside the U.S. are non-returnable.
  • Items damaged through normal wear and tear or improper handling are not eligible.
  • Exchanges are limited to ‘one per item’, unless the first was a faulty item replacement.

Shipping & Fees

Return Shipping:

Customers are responsible for shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Restocking Fee:

A € 6.95 fee applies to standard refunds to cover shipping and restocking. No fee for exchanges or store credit.

Insurance:

We recommend obtaining proof of postage or shipping insurance for returns, as Henry Dacosta LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged packages in transit.

Legal Compliance

This policy is aligned with EU Customer Rights (for orders shipped in Spain/EU) and U.S consumer protection laws:

  • Customers may cancel or returns purchases within 14 days of receipt without providing a reason.
  • Faulty or damaged items must be repaired, replaced or refunded in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Duties and taxes for international shipments (DDU) are the customer’s responsibility; VAT and taxes on DDP shipments will be refunded if items are returned.
